Working with so many variations of anxiety, has me wanting to address, Health anxiety. This is also known as illness anxiety disorder, it is characterised by an excessive preoccupation with having or acquiring a serious illness. 

For those affected, this concern often leads to frequent health checks, excessive doctor visits, and a persistent sense of worry, even when medical tests show no cause for alarm. Our brain is not satisfied with this and it’s alerting you to danger constantly.

When your own health or the health of a loved one is impacted, this anxiety can become overwhelming. You might find yourself caught in a cycle of fear and worry, unable to focus on the present or enjoy life’s everyday moments. However, there are ways to break this cycle and regain control over your thoughts and emotions.
